Job Description 

We are looking for a Cost Accountant who can help us scale our Food Operations across multiple locations. You will be responsible for all the inventory & cost accounting alongside daily cash & bank reconciliation/reporting for all the dark kitchens & distribution points in Lahore. We are small and getting ready to grow which means that you will have the room to create a ton of impact really fast and join us for our initial growth! This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor of Pakistan’s very first Y Combinator backed consumer startup.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Develop processes and internal controls related to inventory management and cash handling

  
  


• 
  

  Verify accurate standard costs and analyze standard variances

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring Actual costs incurred for each menu item

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring inventory, cash and bank transactions

  
  


• 
  

  Developing inventory analysis reports  for multiple locations & Head Office

  
  


• 
  

  Developing bank and cash reconciliation reports for multiple locations & Head Office

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with our Accounting team for periodic reporting

  
  

Skills and Experience

Ideal candidate will have these experiences:

  Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment

  Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines

  Good technical proficiency, literacy skills and a competent computer user

  Good Accountancy experience, good analytical skills and good understanding and working knowledge of bookkeeping

  Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
