We are looking for a React Native developer interested in joining the Zampi team to help take our technology to new platforms such as IOS and Android platforms.
We are looking for an enthusiastic developer who will take ownership in their work. The perfect candidate will have excellent communication skills as our mobile presence and web presence need to work seamlessly together in order to create the perfect experience for our users.
This is a mid-level position that will quickly grow into a leadership role. The main responsibilities will be:
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage the Twilio API for both voice and SMS.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks once the app is live and users are using it on a daily basis.
Maintain code and make sure the product is high quality.
Additionally, Zampi believes in continual learning and development of our team. Once hired, you will be given access to LinkedIn Learning and will work closely with our CEO & CTO to put together a learning path that will make you a skilled assassin when it comes to code, architecture, databases, leadership, communication, & any other skill that should be developed.
Your Current Skills
Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
Knowledge and actionable understanding of object-oriented programming
Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code that will be readable and understandable months later.
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio and Text Editors
A good understanding of Node JS
A good understanding of Mongo DB
A deep understanding of React Native and how to take an app from idea to implementation.
Conversational English ( You will be communicating with our American team, including the CEO and Head of Design)
Nice to have Skills. (If you don’t have these, they can be learned on the job through your daily study)
Understanding of Amazon’s AWS (this can be taught/learned on the job)
Launching and maintaining an app in both the App Store & Google Play
PHP ( Our web platform is based in PHP and uses the Codeigniter Framework)
