American eCommerce’s Seller Performance team is working on a new track of work, Seller Standards. Their goal is to motivate sellers to take actions to improve their shop’s performance so that they can provide world-class customer service. This will be achieved by defining their standards for customer service excellence, and motivating sellers to meet their standards through buyer- and seller-side features.

Seeking a Sr. Engineer to assist in: 

Developing web applications using PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS and React

Collaborating closely with product managers and designers, providing estimates and/or product ideas that will help influence the team’s roadmap

Working with and improving upon existing code.

Requirements

Backend engineering experience with PHP 

Frontend engineering experience with HTML/CSS & Javascript 

Proficiency with React 

Strong communication skills 

Cross-functional collaboration experience, including with Product Managers

Nice to Have

Experience with Typescript 

Experience with Scala and/or Spark
