Responsibilities:

• Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
• Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
• Address and improve any technical issues
• Collaborate and give directions to engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems

What You Need for this Position

• 4+ years working experience
• BSCS or related
• Our tech stack is NO SQL/SQL, Express/React/Node.js/Redux.
• Experience with REST and REST based integrations
• Experience leveraging deployment containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3, ECS and Lambdas
• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
• “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
• Design and deployment of our database
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Design and construction of our REST API
• Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

Skills

• At least four years experience with: writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6
• Back-end programming language {Node.js}
• Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
• Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficiency with Git and repository management
• Appreciation for clean and well documented code
• Team management and mentorship experience
• Hands on experience with linux framework and proficiency with Bash
• Experience with Nginx and load balancer
• Experience with system security would be a plus.
