| Job Description: |
- Define the technical vision and strategy for development methodologies
- You will establish and take ownership of the digital product development roadmap and be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by our engineering team in order to ensure best in class features and functionality of our digital products and integrity to the company long term vision.
- Establish internal framework and processes to streamline the development of product enhancement and new digital products from initial idea to implementation.
- Direct and oversee the engineering engineering function and squads in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications/operating systems according to the business needs
- Provide technical leadership, direction and mentoring for the highly skilled multi-disciplined engineering teams in delivering high performing products
- Liaise with Product to understand functional and non-functional requirements and align with the business strategy
- Understand and translate business requirements (internal and external) into functional specifications including: user stories, wireframes, prototypes, development, and implementation.
- Lead the QA team for product releases to ensure all releases are successful
- Facilitate technology and methodology decision making throughout the team, including standardization, code reviews, reusable code base development, best practice, source control and deployment processes
