ROLE OVERVIEW:

An RCM (medical billing) associate generates revenue by making payment arrangements, collecting accounts, and monitoring and pursuing delinquent accounts. Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients, monitoring payments, and following up with insurance/ patients when payment lapses occur.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Expertise in any of the following fields of RCM:

1.1. Revenue Cycle Management

1.2. Charge Preparation

1.3. Payments

1.4. Accounts Receivables & Denial Management

2. To ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy in entire billing process and pro-actively work towards the processing of all claims.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

1. University degree in business, commerce or similar.

2. 1-2 years of experience in the US Healthcare Industry.

3. Able to apply understanding of applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, HL7 etc)

4. Be able to work towards receiving payment against the claims

5. Ability to adapt to change, work independently, organize work effectively and take initiative in fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks and deliverable simultaneously.

6. Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to read and interpret documents.

7. Excellent understanding of the importance of response times and importance of client service.

8. Proficient in relevant computer applications (PC, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM) and good

9. Someone passionate to work towards collective success through teamwork

10. Someone who is comfortable working in morning and evening shifts

Note: Preference will be given to candidates from Hazara Division, KPK for this specific role.
