Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cold Kitchen Chef to join our dynamic team at Ta'am Ul Khaas (Middle-east Cuisine), a Project of ISMMART Group of Industries. As a Cold Kitchen Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a wide range of delicious cold dishes, including appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. If you have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for presentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we invite you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cold Kitchen Chef, with a strong focus on cold food preparation and presentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cold dishes, including salads, hors d'oeuvres, and sandwiches.
  • Proficiency in handling and working with high-quality ingredients to create visually appealing and flavorful cold dishes.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the cold kitchen menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative flavor combinations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in ingredient selection, preparation techniques, and plating presentation.
  • Ability to create visually stunning and aesthetically pleasing cold dishes that make a memorable impression.
  • Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring that all cold food items are prepared and stored at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Adhere to food handling regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the cold kitchen area.
  • Collaborate effectively with the culinary team, including chefs, sous chefs, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of cold dishes.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with other kitchen staff to coordinate cold dish preparation with hot food stations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet service demands.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in menu requirements or special requests from guests.
  • Formal culinary training or a culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications or specialized training in cold food preparation would be advantageous.
