| Job Description: |
| Perseus Solutions is looking for a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer who has primary responsibility for identifying problems with the software and its design. The position involves close interaction with the Product Development Manager and Support Manager.
Job Functions:
Working with software architects, designers and developers throughout development life cycle to promote and ensure quality. Preparing test plans and test cases. Automating test cases where possible. Producing and prioritizing bugs. Testing software in a cross-platform environment. Testing load and stress of software. Security Testing. Root cause analysis and problem diagnosis. Support services to clients and product users. |
| Required Skills: |
Sound knowledge and experience with QA processes and standards.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Excellent technical knowledge of software development, architectural designs and user experience design.
Good command over SQL and sound knowledge of database management systems. I.e. MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle.
Experience with test automation tools.
Experience with load and stress testing tools.
Experience with server configuration and applications deployment.
Experience with both Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with desktop and web based applications, web services and scheduled jobs.
Experience leading a team of QA Engineers.
