The Position

The division is looking to hire a Xamarin Mobile Developer who will be responsible to introduce new features to their existing mobile app.

• The core development is within Xamarin but the knowledge of native development is an asset.


• S/he will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-centre team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Job Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in cross-platform mobile application development for Android and iOS especially using Xamarin.


• Strong experience of development using C#.


• Strong understanding of Xamarin supported design patterns like MVC and MVVM.


• Exposure of native application development on different platforms including iOS, Android, Windows etc.


• Strong experience of creating and using REST based services.


• Strong experience of working with MS SQL Database.


• Action-oriented and proactive approach to security, scalability and communication.


• Excellent organizational, attention to detail and investigation skills.


• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.


• BS Computer Science degree from a reputable institute/college/university.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cross-platform mobile application solutions for Android and iOS mobile devices.


• Take technical ownership of specific applications and functionality, providing continuous oversight and optimization.


• Develop code in a clean and consistent manner with proper supporting documentation and best practices.


• Help us develop healthy practices around backups and security.

• Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to personnel, company operations and financial matters.
