Job Description: |
You will responsible for driving revenue growth through active business development, relationship management, and marketing initiatives. This role combines sales expertise with marketing knowledge to increase restaurant food sale, and event and party bookings in the restaurant to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for private events, catering, and group dining
- Conduct outreach to potential clients including corporations, hospitals, universities, colleges, NGOs, and other organizations by visiting them.
- Make regular sales calls and organize in-person visits to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Create and implement customized event packages for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions
- Develop and maintain a database of leads and contacts to track all sales activities
- Negotiate contracts and close deals for events and meetings
- Boost the food delivery sales.
Marketing
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop engaging content that showcases the restaurant's offerings
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns targeting different customer segments
- Design promotional materials and special offers to attract new customers
- Analyze marketing campaign results and adjust strategies based on performance data
- Stay informed about local market trends and competitor activities
Customer Experience
- Meet and greet guests during service hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Handle inquiries about private events and provide detailed information about the restaurant's offerings
- Conduct venue tours for potential clients interested in hosting events
- Ensure seamless execution of booked events by coordinating with kitchen and service staff
- Collect and respond to customer feedback to continuously improve offerings
Administration
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
- Set and achieve sales targets for events and group bookings
- Monitor and control marketing budget expenditures
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure successful event execution
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to overall business strategy
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, or event sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and social media management
Preferred
- Experience with event planning and execution
- Background in food and beverage industry
- Understanding of menu planning and food cost structure
- Knowledge of local market and competitive landscape
Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
- Commission structure based on food and beverage sales from:
- Private events booked (% of event revenue)
- Group dining reservations (% of group sales)
- Performance-based bonuses for exceeding quarterly sales targets

Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule required, including some evenings and weekends to accommodate client meetings and events
- Typical schedule includes a mix of office hours for administrative tasks and on-site presence during key service periods
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the General Manager or Restaurant Owner
- Works closely with the Executive Chef, Social Media Manager, and Front-of-House Manager
