A Computer Operator job is available in Karachi for a leading Media Group. An ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in using publishing and design software such as InPage, InDesign, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.

A computer operator's job role is to handle publishing and design software, perform Urdu and English typing, assist in formatting and layout of print/digital content, and support the editorial and design teams by managing computer operations efficiently and ensuring timely output.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage publishing software such as InPage, InDesign, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW
• Prepare and format documents, advertisements, and layouts for print and digital media
• Ensure accuracy in typesetting, formatting, and layout designs
• Assist editorial and design teams in creating and editing visual content
• Maintain system files and organize project data for efficient access
• Troubleshoot minor software and hardware issues when required
• Perform basic IT tasks and use the internet for research and resource downloading

Skills:

• Proficiency in InPage, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDRAW
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations
• Understanding of Urdu typing and formatting standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
